Counselor Welsh Terriers
Is a Welsh Terrier Right for You?
Welsh Terriers are about 15" at the shoulder, 20 pounds,
shed little and are friendly, happy dogs making the ideal for many
people. They are very active, rather independent, and highly
intelligent. The require a firm, consistent training method.
Most Welsh Terriers cannot be expected to stay with you
off leash, so must be fenced in or on leash when outside the home.
They love older children, can live with other dogs and cats if they are
raised with them and well trained. They are usually not suitable
for infants and toddlers.
